Account and data deletion
Delete your FoxDesk AI account
Last updated: July 31, 2026
FoxDesk AI provides a self-service deletion process for cloud workspaces. This page explains who can request deletion, how to submit or cancel a request, and what happens to account data.
Administrator access is required
Only an administrator of the FoxDesk AI workspace can schedule deletion of the workspace. Agents and customer contacts cannot delete it themselves. They can ask their workspace administrator or contact privacy@foxdeskai.com for help with a personal-data request.
Request deletion in the mobile app
An account administrator can submit the request from FoxDesk AI for Android or iOS:
- Sign in to the FoxDesk AI mobile app as an account administrator.
- Open Settings and find the Account section.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the deletion notice and confirm Delete account.
Request deletion on the web
An account administrator can also use the FoxDesk AI web application:
- Sign in at app.foxdeskai.com.
- Open Settings, then General.
- Find Delete your Account and confirm the deletion request.
Seven-day cancellation period
The request schedules permanent deletion for seven days later. An administrator can cancel the request from the same account setting before the displayed deletion date. Cloud subscriptions are canceled immediately when deletion is requested and are not restored automatically if the request is canceled.
Data deleted with the account
After the seven-day period, FoxDesk AI permanently deletes the workspace and its associated live records, including:
- Support conversations, messages, attachments, and merchant-authored private notes
- Contacts, customer links, inboxes, account settings, reports, and reporting events
- Stored integration credentials and cached Shopify customer or order data
- User profiles that are not associated with any other FoxDesk AI workspace
Data retained temporarily or separately
Some limited records remain for security, compliance, backup, or merchant-controlled processing:
- Shopify access-event metadata and completed compliance-request records are retained for up to 12 months; they do not contain Shopify response payloads
- Deleted live data may remain in local database backups for up to 14 days and encrypted offsite backups for up to 35 days before aging out
- A user profile remains active when the user belongs to another FoxDesk AI workspace
- Data sent to merchant-configured bots, webhooks, or third-party integrations is controlled by the merchant and must be deleted from those recipients separately
